1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using aLiveLesson, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Platform Description
aLiveLesson is a marketplace connecting instructors with students for live learning sessions. We facilitate bookings, payment processing, and scheduled-session coordination. We do not guarantee the quality of instruction or the outcomes of any session.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
4. Bookings and Payments
Bookings are processed through Stripe Connect. Instructors are independent sellers, and aLiveLesson facilitates discovery, booking, and platform support. Lessons must be priced at $10 or more. Lessons may be rescheduled up to 24 hours in advance. Cancellations within 24 hours are not refunded.
5. Instructor Terms
aLiveLesson charges instructors 10% of completed bookings, with a $1 minimum per booking. Instructors pay Stripe processing fees through their connected Stripe accounts. Instructors must complete payment onboarding before paid sessions can be sold, conduct sessions professionally, and may be removed for misconduct or no-shows.
6. Limitation of Liability
aLiveLesson is provided as-is. We are not liable for disputes between students and instructors, technical failures during sessions, or any damages arising from use of the platform.
